No One Can Match Jaguar's APEAL

New Jaguar models tend to have a lasting appeal that no other automaker in the world can match. We here at Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast know this, but we realize that not everyone else does. That is why we turn to J.D. Power and Associates, and, more specifically, their 2011 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.

This year marks the fourth consecutive year that Jaguar has ranked second overall in the brand ranking segment of the APEAL Study. The APEAL Study examines a total of 32 brands and ranks them based on owner evaluations of more than…

Jaguar C-X75: 2011 Concept Car of the Year

Jaguar continues to be ahead of the curve when it comes to amazing concept vehicles. Years ago, they introduced the Jaguar XF to audiences around the globe, which led to one of the best selling new models by the luxury auto maker. Now, the company which brought us all the great vehicles at Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast in Fort Pierce, FL, has been honored with a 2011 Concept Car of the Year award for the C-X75.

C-X75 was also named "Most Significant Concept of 2011" by the same judges at the North American Concept Vehicle Awards, held annually in…

Land Rover Range Rover Grand Evoque In The Works

The Range Rover Evoque has just hit dealership lots like Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast in Fort Pierce, FL and already Land Rover is planning an extended version of the vehicle. Extended in size, that is. In fact, the supposed "Grand Evoque" will apparently be a stretch variant of the crossover vehicle.

According to sources at The Motor Authority, "a new model nicknamed the 'Grand Evoque' is being considered as a more family oriented version of the Evoque. It will retain the Evoque's coupe-like styling?"

"Underpinning the new model would be the same 'LR-MS' platform used in the Evoque…

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Goes Global

The upcoming Range Rover Evoque continues popping up all over the globe. After it's initial debut in London, the car was spotted at a huge sponsored event in New York City's Times Square.

Many believe Land Rover's 2012 Range Rover Evoque will become their best selling auto. It's a very distinct possibility.

The Windsor Star took a closer look at this powerful crossover, saying this vehicle "appears more like a sport wagon derivative of a compact passenger car, especially in two door livery."1

Windsor Star continues, "when ogling the attractive two-and four-door body styles, it…

Jaguar Holds Back On Small Sedan

For quite some time, Jaguar has been planning a smaller vehicle below its upcoming Jaguar XF. But the luxury car maker has now decided to wait until after XF debuts in 2015, at least according to AutoCar.

This "baby Jag" would have to debut close to the size of the current XF. Jaguar's decision to switch the models in the cycle plan is to insure both cars are successful.

"We definitely won't kill today's XF with a new small car," said Jaguar Land Rover's Adrian Hallmark, the new head of the Tata-based management team. "We'll…

The Electric Land Rover Defender

Imagine how much more wildlife you'd see, cruising through a game park in a quieter vehicle that created less pollution and thereby smell. We're thinking: substantially more. Not to mention, the very experience of driving through the great outdoors would be at least ten times more enjoyable.

That's exactly what Axeon and Land Rover were thinking when they decided to team up and create a pure-electric version of the iconic, rugged Defender for use in game parks. Fitted with a battery-powered system engineered by Axeon, Europe's foremost independent developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries, the revamped…

Jaguar XFR Facelift by Ian Callum

An updated version of the upcoming 2012 Jaguar XF, which can be viewed at Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast in Fort Pierce, FL, will be called Jaguar XFR, and might be design chief Ian Callum's favorite look yet.

"This is definitely the best facelift I've done at Jaguar," the design said.

In front, Jaguar has added a new hood, wings, bumper, headlamps and grille. The hood features a prominent power bulge, standard on all models, from European diesels up to the XFR. A key change is slimmer XJ-style headlamps.

Callum also enlarged the grille and made it slightly…

Some controversy has been going around the web and on Land Rover sites. But a report coming directly from the auto maker reveals they are considering replacements, or at least a major redesign, for the classic and iconic Land Rover Defender.

This new report indicates that the company has started development on a redesigned model of the Land Rover Defender.

Details are limited, but the SUV will reportedly ride on a new platform and be available in various styles. We're likely to see a Defender concept in early 2013 and production model in 2015.

We're also anxious to…

250,000th Land Rover Freelander Built

Land Rover's Halewood plant recently produced its 250,000th Land Rover Freelander. This is cause for celebration! The milestone model was a Fuji White TD4 Diesel GS, with 2.2 liter engine, and was sold to a buyer in Scotland.

The first Land Rover Freelander rolled off the production line in 2007. The 250,000 Freelander was completed on Monday, March 28 2011.

For the year ending in February 2011, sales of the Freelander 2 increased by a remarkable 22%, even while overall sales of new cars dropped during this period.

"The demand for Land Rover vehicles seems to…

The New Two-Wheeled Land-Rover

As many of you know, Land Rover has been a luxury auto dealer that makes such vehicles as the LR2 and LR4 but I bet you didn't know that they are also creating a lightweight concept road bike, created by the Land Rover design team, to complement the Range Rover Evoque, which recently debuted at the International Geneva Motor Show.

Taking the same approach as they do with their cars, Land Rover designers created…
