Range Rover Evoque Nominated for the 2012 North American Truck of the Year Award

I love this time of year: the decorations, songs, time spent with family and friends, and the upcoming Detroit Auto Show where all of the top brands debut their latest creations, all hoping to be declared the winner of the North American Car or Truck of the Year.  The nominations have been revealed and among them is the 2012 Range Rover Evoque.  Stuart residents interested in purchasing a new truck should definitely consider this distinguished vehicle.  To qualify for this prestigious award, the truck must be new (in terms of model design) or significantly changed from previous models in its line.  The nominees are evaluated based on performance, handling, value, safety, and driver satisfaction.  The winner, decided upon by American and Canadian auto journalists, will set the bar for vehicles in its class.  Across the world and especially in Stuart, 2012Range Rover Evoque models have already managed to do just that.

The Evoque is the first two-door coupe in the Land Rover line up and one of the few among SUVs.  The two-door coupe model is about $1,000 more than the traditional four-door.  The four-door SUV is available in three different trims: Pure, Prestige, and Dynamic.  However, the two-door SUV is only available in either Pure or Dynamic trims.  Even as a four-door Range Rover Evoque, Vero Beach sets a beautiful backdrop for this luxury compact SUV to stand out.  It's also the smallest vehicle Land Rover has produced yet.  To give you a frame of reference, it's shorter than the Ford Focus.

Not only does it stand out just by looks but the Evoque is more dexterous than other crossovers and SUVs.  With a 2.0-liter inline turbo V4 engine capable of 240 horsepower, your surroundings may be a blur cruising through Vero Beach. Range Rover Evoque models have standard all-wheel drive as well as the upscale Terrain Response system, a Land Rover standard.  With less mass and the same high quality level of its larger vehicles, the Evoque is definitely made for both on- and off-road adventures.
